Black Friday is a term first used sometime prior to 1961 in America to describe the surplus of pedestrians and traffic in Philadelphia. Today, many people reference Black Friday as the day when retailers turn a profit and go from negative sales/profit {red} to positive sales/profit {black}.
Let's move on to the most important concept of today now that I've given you a little brain power with some historical facts: today kick starts the Christmas shopping season.
